Along with many other important & notable achievements, Emmeline was a major force behind eventually securing Womens' right to vote. When Capt Potter 1st applied for the position, she was told only men could serve as the US Air Force Chaplain. Several weeks later, the gender requirement was dropped (why did it take so long?), and Capt Potter earned the title. Praise be!  ♀️♀️♀️
